About the Team
Illustrator Josiane Vlitos and author Josh Oaktree
MANAGING DIRECTOR: Josh Oaktree founded Oak Tree Comics to make imaginative books for kids that speak up for the environment. His books include the young reader series Art and Oakie Ask and the middle-grade books Thorn the Unicorn and The Weird Animal Hour. He received his MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute. Originally from Philly, he lives in sunny Los Angeles.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR: Amelia Boscov is a graduate of NYU Tisch where she majored in film and TV. She likes to write and direct lighthearted comedies that focus on women and the LGBTQ community. She has worked as an assistant director on over a dozen short films and also enjoys producing. She has always loved graphic novels and is excited to bring new ones into the world!
